Neighborhood Spotlight: Barrio Chino

We have pretty amazing dining, shopping, and entertainment on the Lower East Side and even just on our own block.

We're all big fans of Barrio Chino (which means "Chinese ‘hood" in Spanish). There’s no fancy sign out front, but you’ll know you’ve reached the right place when you come upon a splash of orange in the middle of the block. Inside, decor includes Asian accents like hanging paper lanterns along with dark wood and exposed brick. With more than 50 kinds of tequila in house, along with a variety of margaritas, sangria and caipirinhas, Barrio Chino also hits the spot with small plate appetizers.
